This website is operated by Nest at Wester Lix, a forthcoming wellness retreat at Wester Lix, near Killin, in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, Scotland.

Nest at Wester Lix is a project of Shed Collective Ltd, the ultimate owner of this website. Shed Collective Ltd is the data controller for any personal data collected through this website and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection authority.

What data we collect and why

Contact form enquiries

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the nature of your interest, and your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interest (responding to your request).

Contact form submissions are delivered to us by email via Resend, our email delivery provider. Your data is not shared with any other third party.

Website analytics

With your consent, we may use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous data about how visitors use our website. This includes pages visited, time spent on site, and general location (country/city level). IP addresses are anonymised by default in GA4.

This data helps us understand which pages are most useful and improve the website. You can opt out at any time by changing your .

Spam protection

We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect our contact form from spam and abuse. This is classified as an essential service and does not require consent. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

How we protect your data

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served over HTTPS. We do not store personal data on the website itself. Contact form submissions are delivered directly to our email address and are not stored in any database.

How long we keep your data

  • Contact form enquiries: we keep enquiry emails for as long as necessary to respond to your query, and then for up to 12 months for reference.
  • Analytics data: automatically deleted by Google after 14 months.

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data
